How to Install libgdm-dev software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libgdm-dev software package provides Next generation GNOME Display Manager (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libgdm-dev

libgdm-dev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libgdm-dev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgdm-dev *

You will get with libgdm-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
